It has featured some of the most talented players in the world. Here we will look at some of the most famous cricket players in the world who have made their mark on the game.

Currently, Babar Azam is the 1st highest ODI player, 2nd is Rassie van der Dussen and 3rd is David Warner. These three stars are some of the most famous cricket players in the world today and have all made their unique contributions to the game.

We all know about the world-famous Indian player Virat Kohli. He is now the captain of the Indian national cricket team. Virat Kohli has harnessed the fitness and technical prowess of Sachin Tendulkar to fulfil his ambitions. 

This ambition at least transformed him into the captain of the cricket team. Virat is a right-handed top batsman player. He has many outstanding records in the game of cricket so far. Also, a part of the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore since 2008 till now.

He made his debut for the Delhi Under-15 team in October 2002 and scored the highest number of runs that year. In 2006, Kohli’s coach selected him to play for India in the Under-19 cricket squad and toured England. Later, he returned victorious by scoring 105 runs in the three-day ODI.

When Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar were unfit to play in the Indian cricket team, the coach called upon Kohli the opening batsman. Indian team won by defeating Sri Lanka due to his outstanding talent. 

Virat Kohli has been the captain in all three formats since MS Dhoni stepped down from T20 and ODI captaincy. At present, ESPN has ranked this right-handed batsman as one of the athletes in the world.

Azam made his international debut against Zimbabwe in May 2015. In the third ODI on 31 May, he scored a brilliant 54 off 60 balls. Then in January 2016, Pakistan played New Zealand in ODIs. Azam scored 62 runs off 76 balls in the first ODI. That time New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 70 runs.

Then the coach selected Babar Azam in 2016 in the home match against West Indies. In the first ODI match, he scored his first international century with 120 runs off 131 balls. He succeeded in the man of the match prize in that match and scored 350+ runs in a three-match ODI series.

He was the dual fastest player to score 2000 ODI runs. Also, he was the second-fastest player to score 1000 T20 runs.Also, he was the second-fastest player to score 1000 T20 runs. Later in the year, he showed his natural game. This player stunned everyone by scoring a century in the ODI against Pakistan. Since then, he scored a century in the next three ODI matches. 

The coach ruled out him from the 2015 World Cup due to an ankle injury. But he fast recovered. But he managed to play only one series against Bangladesh. He was later dropped. In late 2021, de Kock declared a shock retirement from Tests. He decided to join a growing list of top all-format players looking to concentrate on the white-ball structure.

In August 2019, Gill set history as the youngest Indian batsman to achieve a double century in a first-class match.

Gill completed his test debut for India on 26 December 2020, against Australia. It helped him to a comeback win in the second match of the series. On 16 December 2022, against Bangladesh, Gill achieved the first century of his test career.

Wherever the ambitious opportunity arose, Rassie van der Dusen played cricket in South Africa, Ireland, England, Canada, the Netherlands, and the Caribbean. In 2018, Van der Dussen had been part of South Africa A’s tour to India earlier that year.
